City
council also gave approval to an ordinance lowering the pre-treatment limits of
cadmium and mercury Dow Chemical can release into the South Charleston’s water
treatment plant.
A
city-wide spring cleanup was also announced by Public Works Director Gerald
Burgy. Cleanup for the west end of town will be on April 27 and east end
cleanup will take place a week later on May 4.
Funds
for a new projector and screen for the conference room at the Little Creek
